On the occasion of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, the local MP of Muradnagar Upazila of Comilla has distributed Iftar items among thousands of families with his own funding.
Iftar items include 2 liters edible oil, 2 kg chickpeas, 3 kg onions, 1 kg dates, 1 kg mudri, 1 kg pulses and a total of 10 kg packets are distributed.
Iftar items were distributed in the southern neighborhood of Upazila Sadar on Wednesday afternoon.
Upazila Sadar Union Parishad chairman Kazi Tufriz Eton presided over the iftar distribution and discussion meeting where local member of parliament Yusuf Abdullah Haroon FCA was present as the chief guest.
Upazila Jubo League convener Ruhul Amin was the special guest on this occasion, Upazila Awami League Vice President Tarek Abdullah, former Upazila Vice Chairman Rafiqul Islam Sarkar, Muradnagar Kazi Noman Ahmad Degree College Principal Sadikur Rahman, former Acting UP Chairman Akter Hossain, former Badiruzzaman, Kazi Sharfin. Shah, UP member Al-Amin Badsha, Comilla North District Farmers League member Md. Helal Uddin Chowdhury, Haji Ismail Danu, Hafez Abul Kalam and others.
