Mourning meeting in memory of those killed in anti-discrimination student movement in Tangail

Tangail Bhuyapur of  a mourning meeting was held in memory of the martyrs who died in the student movement due to discrimination and prayers and discussions were held for the well-being of the injured. On Thursday (August 22) morning, the event was organized at the Fends Community Center in Bhuyapur Municipal City under the initiative of ‘Manbatar Sebay Bhuyapur Foundation’.

Under the chairmanship of founder director Saimur Rahat Raihan, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mamunur Rashid, Citizen for Good Governance Sujan Upazila Branch President Mirza Mohiuddin, General Secretary Santosh Kumar Dutta, Advisor to the organization Barrister Hasnat Jamil, Hamidur Rahman, Arjuna Haji Ismail Khan Private Technical College Principal Abdus Chatter, Sujan Organizational Secretary Halimur Rahman Ripon along with local social organizations and anti-discrimination student movement Tangail district coordinator and other members of the organization were present.

Saimur Rahat Raihan, the founding director of Bhuyapur Foundation in the service of humanity, said – “Through the mass uprising of the students, the dictatorship has been removed from the country. During the regime of this dictatorial government, apart from the political groups, the common people have also been victims of injustice and oppression in various ways. We will treat them positively rather than vindictively so that they will be ashamed of themselves and see the truth and return to the path of righteousness. The country became independent again. In order to protect this freedom, the students must be united regardless of caste and religion and protect sectarianism.
