In Bancharampur upazila of Brahmanbaria, miscreants entered the house and slaughtered a mother and two children. This incident happened on Tuesday (October 17) morning in Char Chaishani area of Ayubpur Union of the upazila.
The deceased are Jessie Akhter (35), wife of Saudi Arabian expatriate Shah Alam, her elder son Mahin (14) and younger son Mahin (7).
Additional Superintendent of Police (Nabinagar Circle) Sirajul Islam said that the owner of the house Shah Alam is in exile in Saudi Arabia. His wife and two sons live in the house. In the morning, the working woman came and saw the gate of the building installed. Despite many calls, the gate did not open. Later, with other people of the house, they tried to open the gate and everyone entered inside. He went inside and saw the bloodied bodies of Shah Alam’s wife and two children lying on the floor and in the bathroom.
He also said that several teams of police have started working at the spot to solve the mystery of the incident. Details will be given later.
