Mymensingh City Corporation is conducting various activities to solve the waterlogging caused by the continuous rains of the last few days. Mymensingh City Corporation Mayor Md. Ikramul Haque Titu visited these activities conducted in Bhatikashar and Balashpur this afternoon. At this time, the mayor said, we are working with utmost importance to resolve the waterlogging. The construction of three big drains is going on to solve the waterlogging of the region. Once these connections are completed, it is expected that the waterlogging problem will be solved. Also we are working for immediate solution. Arrangements are being made to move water from the places where water is stuck in the region. Hopefully, the waterlogging situation will end soon. In addition, the mayor sought the cooperation of the citizens to resolve the waterlogging. He said that the house should be left for the drain. Flooding will not end if water cannot be constructed. Citizens should come forward for this. Also many dump piling soil directly into the drain making the drain ineffective. Many people throw solid waste including garbage, bottles, sacks into drains. Its practices must be abandoned, or a permanent solution to waterlogging will not be possible. At that time, the Chief Executive Officer of MOSIK Md.
