Mirsarai Correspondent : Nurul Amin, Member of Parliament for Chattogram-1 (Mirsarai), inspected the river erosion-affected areas of Shukrobaria Hat in Dhoom Union under the upazila. He conducted the spot inspection alongside top officials of the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) to take effective steps for a permanent solution to the erosion.
During the visit, MP Nurul Amin exchanged views with the affected local residents and listened attentively to their grievances. He subsequently directed the attending BWDB officials to take urgent, long-term, and permanent measures to prevent further river erosion.
Following the inspection, the MP visited the ‘Osman Ali Bhuiyan Bari Road’ in the area. During this time, he reviewed the overall development activities of Dhoom Union and discussed various local issues and potential opportunities with the residents.
Local public representatives, relevant officials from the Water Development Board, and prominent local personalities were present during the visit.
