“Mahan-May Day” celebrated in Galachipa

With the realization of the rights and fair demands of the working people of the world, in the light of stopping the torture of workers, on the occasion of 1st May and International Labor Day 2023 organized by Galachipa Upazila Labor League, floral tributes were paid to the portrait of Bangabandhu, and at the end, a colorful rally procession with banners composed of all the working people. Awami League circled various roads from the office premises. Patuakhali-113(3) Galachipa Dasmina elected Member of Parliament, SM Shahzada (MP) along with upazila Awami League leaders, municipal leaders, Sramik League leaders led the procession as chief guests. At the end of the rally at the Awami League office at 10:30 p.m., under the chairmanship of Sramik League President Md. Ibrahim Dafadar, Member of Parliament SM Shahzada spoke about the significance of May Day as the chief guest. Apart from that, senior leader of Upazila Awami League Md. Rezaul Karim, General Secretary of Awami League Golam Mostafa Titu, Vice President Haji Mojibur Rahman, Municipal General Secretary Md. Abid Hasan Rubel, Golkhali UP Chairman Md. Nasir Uddin, Upazila Sramik League were present as special guests. General Secretary Md. Alamin, Municipal Workers League President Md. Jalal Mia, Municipal Workers League General Secretary Shakeel Mosharraf and others. Besides, at 11 o’clock in the afternoon, on the initiative of the Galachipa municipal branch of the Nationalist Labor Party, Ward Councilor Md. Sohag took out a rally on the 1st of May – International Labor Day and toured the city.
