The students are staying at the Sciencelab intersection of the capital as part of the central program of the anti-discrimination student movement, protesting against the attacks on the peaceful movement of students and citizens across the country, protesting the firing and 9-point demands. As a result, traffic is stopped at Sciencelab intersection.
On Saturday (August 3) at 1:50 p.m., students were seen blocking the adjacent road on the ground at the ScienceLab Mor area. Before this, the students took a position at the Science Lab intersection around 12:20 PM.
The students said that they have taken to the streets as part of the central program. They will continue their agitation until their demands are met.
Nazmul Hasan, Central Coordinator of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and a student of Dhaka College, told that after the program at ScienceLab Junction, we will go to Central Shaheed Minar to hold the central program.
The protesting students are seen shouting different slogans.
Meanwhile, additional police are deployed near the Sciencelab intersection.
