Patuakhali District Commissioner Mr. Shariful Islam said this while attending the reception of SSC and Dakhil Preparatory Examination-2023 merit students at the Upazila Parishad Hall room organized by Galachipa Upazila Administration of Patuakhali on Thursday at twelve o’clock.
Galachipa Upazila Parishad Chairman Muhammad Shaheen was the special guest at the reception of Kriti students.
Upazila executive officer Mohiuddin Al-Helal presided. Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Golam Mostafa was the popular presenter and special guest of the event.
The chief guest said to the students that the quality of education has improved due to the various programs undertaken by the current government regarding the quality of education. He also said, remember that the light of education will show the light in the darkness to reach your goal.
Distinguished columnist, President of Galachipa Press Club and Anchor Organization, gave the guest speech at the event. Khalid Hossain Milton, Headmaster of Galachipa Government Model Secondary School – Md. Nizam Uddin, Headmaster of Par Dakua Secondary School – along with two meritorious students. Later, Patuakhali District Magistrate Mr. Shariful Islam gave rosary flowers and crests to the 26 art students and urged them to focus more on writing.
Deputy District Agriculture Officer Arju Akhter, Engineer Md. Jahangir Alam, Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Md. Zihirunnabi, Project Implementation Officer Khakan Das, Primary Education Officer Mir Rezaul Karim, Rural Development Officer Mahabub Hasan Shibli, Chairman of various unions and other members of the upazila administration were present. Officials of various departments, teachers of Madhyamik and Dakhil Madrasas, creative students and mass media crowd.
