Legal notice to Vidyananda for not getting the account

A grant of 40 thousand 500 taka was given to Vidyananda Foundation for participating in social work. But since no information about that amount was found in the audit report, a legal notice was sent to the chairman of the company, Kishore Kumar. Sabiha Rahman, a resident of Mirpur in the capital today, and her lawyer Md. Haider sent this notice through Tanviruzzaman. The notice said, Vidyananda Foundation is a reputed non-profit organization in Bangladesh. Has been doing various social charity work for a long time with great reputation. The organization publishes pictures and videos of their various activities through various social media. As a result, common people give money to institutions at different times. Sabiha Rahman gave Tk 40 thousand 500 in two installments to the foundation’s account in order to participate in the social work of the organization. It is said in the notice that for some time there have been some complaints about the Vidyananda Foundation through newspapers and social media – where there have been allegations of various irregularities and improper use of money. But no explanation was received from the organization on these issues. The legal notice said to Kishore Kumar, your organization clearly mentions all expenditure areas in the audit report. But even after checking the report my client did not get any information about his remittance. Despite repeated requests to know in which sector his money was spent, he did not give any reply. Therefore, within 30 days of receiving this notice, please provide an accurate explanation of the sector in which Tk 40,500 has been spent. Otherwise, legal action will be taken according to the prevailing laws of the country.
