Dry food has been distributed among the families affected by recent floods in Dahgram Union of Patgram Upazila of Lalmonirhat District.
Rabinar (October 8) distribution of dry food was held under the overall supervision of Patgram upazila administration of Lalmonirhat under the patronage of Ministry of Disaster Management.
Lalmonirhat District Awami League President Alhaj Motahar Hossain MP distributed dry food. At this time Patgram upazila executive officer Nurul Islam.
Patgram Upazila Project Implementation Officer Uttam Kumar Nandi, Patgram Upazila Awami League Joint General Secretary Abu Taleb, Khorshed Alam Reza, Relief Secretary Sekender Ali, Dahgram Union Awami League President Safiul Alam Bablu, Dahgram Union Parishad Chairman and Dahgram Union Awami League were also present. General Secretary of the League Habibur Rahman Habib along with dignitaries of the area and various print electronic media journalists were present.
Incidentally, 10kg of rice, 1kg of dal, 1litre of oil, 1kg of salt, 1kg of sugar, turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander powder were distributed among 280 families affected by the recent flood in Dahgram Union due to the severe flooding of the Teesta river in the waters of Sikkim.
