In Adimari upazila of Lalmonirhat, internal Amon paddy and rice collection was inaugurated. On this occasion, upazila executive officer GR Sarwar cut the ribbon at the food warehouse on Monday (December 4) afternoon organized by the upazila food office.
Before this, in the presence of government officials, all mill owners and journalists at the upazila executive office, the list of farmers to collect paddy and rice was drawn by lottery.
This year domestic Aman paddy target of 492 mt and rice target of 1026 mt has been allocated.
