Lalmonirhat Motorcyclist killed by truck in – 2 injured

A motorcycle rider named Sirajul was killed by a truck in Aditmari upazila of Lalmonirhat. Two others were injured in the incident.
The accident took place on Thursday night (February 15) at Khatapara shrine area of ​​Saptibari union of Lalmonirhat Burimari highway.
Aditmari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahmud Un Nabi confirmed this information.
The deceased Sirajul Islam is the son of Hafez Ali of Chowratari village of Sarpukur Union.
The injured are Mrinal Kanti (28) and Apple (27) of Sarpukur village of the same union.
Police and locals said that Sirajul Islam, Mrinal Kanti and Apple were going to Lalmonirhat town on a motorcycle. When they crossed the Khatapara Shrine of Saptibari Union, a truck coming from behind hit Lalmonirhat and Sirajul Islam was killed on the spot. The other two on the motorcycle were seriously injured. On receiving the information, a team of fire service came and rescued the injured and admitted them to Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital.
In this regard, Aditmari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahmud Un Nabi confirmed the truth of the incident.
