Yunus Ali, president of Lalmonirhat Reporters Unit and Abdur Rahim, representative of Anand TV, were recently attacked while performing their professional duties in Hatibandha Upazila of Lalmonirhat.
Human chains and protest meetings were held in protest against this despicable attack along with the vandalism of cameras and mobile phones and the neglect of police duty to catch the miscreants.
Journalists working in the district under the banner of Bangladesh Press Club, Bangladesh Mafswal Journalist Society and various journalist organizations participated in the hour-long program held at Hatibandha Upazila Parishad premises on Monday (September 4).
