A huge election mass communication and campaign has been conducted in the station area of ​​Lalmonirhat on the occasion of the Bangladesh Railway (Employees) Welfare Trust election.
This campaign was conducted at Lalmonirhat Railway Station and surrounding areas on Sunday (June 21) afternoon, focusing on this election event on June 29 (Monday).
Meanwhile, Md. Saidur Rahman, a worker representative candidate from Group ‘A’ of the Lalmonirhat Divisional Committee, arrived at the station area this afternoon and exchanged greetings with railway workers and employees of all levels and distributed leaflets.
Ignoring the intense sun and heat, a large number of supporters participated in this campaign in support of the ‘Chhata’ marker.
During the mass communication, RNB Lalmonirhat Office Chief Assistant (Acting) Saidur Rahman said, “My main goal is to protect the rights of workers and employees working at Lalmonirhat Railway Station and various departments and to work as a strong voice against injustice. I am seeking one valuable vote and prayer for the ‘umbrella’ mark to serve all levels of officers and employees.” At this time, Nasir Uddin Faruk, General Secretary Shaheen of the organization’s central committee were present and campaigned for the umbrella marker candidate Saidur Rahman.
Later, great enthusiasm was observed among the general employees of the engineering, installation, accounting and security forces departments working in the station area.
