Disaster Management and Relief Minister Principal Asadul Habib Dulu MP said, “The foundation for the modernization and modernization of the country’s education system was laid by the late Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. The people of the country still remember her contribution to improving the quality of education and developing infrastructure with respect.”
He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of the newly constructed expanded building at the Khochabari Model Government Primary School grounds in Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila on Sunday (June 21).
The Relief Minister further said, “To ensure the quality of education, a collective effort is needed from teachers, guardians and people from all walks of life. Everyone must play a responsible role in enriching students with patriotism, human values and moral education.”
The minister formally inaugurated the expanded building of Khochabari Government Primary School, built at a cost of about 72 lakh 13 thousand 962 taka with funding from the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED).
The program was presided over by the school management committee president Akbar Ali and was addressed as special guests by District Council Administrator AKM Mominul Haque, Upazila Executive Officer Mononita Das, LGED Executive Engineer Kawsar Alam, District Secondary Education Officer Rukhsana Parvin and District Primary Education Officer Mominul Islam. The school’s headmaster Aleya Lucky delivered the welcome speech at the program.
Local public representatives, teachers, guardians, students and dignitaries of the area were present at the inauguration ceremony. The concerned expressed hope that the construction of the new building will further improve the educational environment of the school and that students will have the opportunity to study under modern facilities.
