Md. Milan Raihan, Joypurhat Correspondent: Today’s 12th November 25th RAB-5 has arrested two female drug dealers, Momena Begum (50) and Faima (35), with a large quantity of the addictive buprenorphine injection. They had a child with them at the time.
Joypurhat RAB camp confirmed the matter through a press release at 11 am today, Wednesday (November 12).
Earlier, they were arrested with 792 pieces of buprenorphine injections from Hastabashantpur area of ​​Akkelpur upazila of Joypurhat at 1 pm on Tuesday.
According to a press release, a team of RAB conducted a special operation based on a tip-off. Two women were arrested in the operation and 792 pieces of narcotic buprenorphine injections and a button mobile phone were recovered from them. Drug dealers Momena Begum and Faima, along with her 4-month-old daughter, were arrested. Both of them are residents of Panchbibi Upazila of Joypurhat.
RAB said that the arrested accused have been handed over to Akkelpur Police Station. Intelligence activities of RAB-5, CPC-3, Joypurhat Camp are continuing to arrest other members of the drug addicts and drug trafficking syndicate.
