Due to the complete shutdown of the pathology department of Jhalkathi Sadar Hospital, the incoming patients are in extreme danger. For mysterious reasons, the pathology program has been stopped without starting. In addition to harassment, the examination has to be done from outside in exchange of more money. Most of the activities in the pathology department of Jhalakathi Sadar Hospital were stopped from 10th of April. After that, as all the tests were stopped gradually, the patients coming from far away were in extreme trouble. Especially the elderly, women and children patients are being harassed more because of not being able to carry out the examination process inside the hospital. They have to undergo various problems to go outside in the condition of illness and conduct tests as per the doctor’s advice. Also, as the government cannot conduct the examination here for a small amount of money, the patients have to pay two or three times more money to get it done from outside. Examination is not possible due to the unaffordability of many. According to a reliable source in the hospital, the tender process for the supply of chemical equipment for the pathology department was completed last month. It is said that this complication has arisen because the contractor was not given a work order. On March 11, the new supervisor of Jhalakathi Sadar Hospital Dr. This complication took extreme shape when Shamim Ahmed joined and did not give work orders. In this situation, the entire pathology program of the hospital was stopped. In this context, the supervisor Dr. Shamim Ahmed said that the information about the cause of this problem is not correct because I did not give the work order. Administrative approval is required before issuing work orders. Unable to issue work order due to lack of approval from Health Department. However, if the approval is received within the next 1 week, the work order will be given. Every year such complications do not arise with the work orders.
