International Standard University (ISU) organized the grand finale and prize distribution of “ISU World Cup Genius” at Mohakhali Campus on Tuesday evening. Adamjee Cantonment College became the champion by defeating Dhaka Commerce College in this event.
ISU Board of Trustees Chairman Engineer A, K, M, Musharraf Hussain, Vice-Chairman Engineer Atiqur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Awal Khan and Ayman Sadiq, founder of online tutoring company Ten Minute School, presented the prizes to the winners. Milestone College won the third place by defeating Notre Dame College in the competition. Hamim Adnan of Notre Dame College became the best genius of the tournament by scoring 98 runs. 50,000/- for the champion team, 30,000/- and 15,000/- for the runners-up team respectively and the best genius of the tournament received Tk. 10,000/-, crest and certificate.
On the occasion of the Cricket World Cup, the International Standard University organized this three-day competition for the students of class 11 and 12. Planned, conducted and presented by Raisul Haque Chowdhury, Head of Public Relations, International Standard University, the partners of the “ISU World Cup Genius” quiz competition were Jamuna Bank Limited, Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited, Standard Insurance Ltd., Japan’s Number One Water Purifier Torrevino, Fiona Bangladesh, Digital Media Forum (DMF) and Excellence Bangladesh. During this time, acting treasurer of the university H.T.M.Kader Newaz, registrar Md. Faizullah Kaushik along with chairpersons of various departments, teachers, students and administrative officers-employees were also present.
