A blacksmith named Sohag (21) died tragically due to electrocution in Manpura upazila of Bhola. The incident took place at 2 pm on Monday in front of Dighi of Upazila Parishad of Hazirhat Union while doing painting work at Tehsildar Rubina’s house.
Painter Ashraful Islam Sohag (21), who died due to electric shock, is the son of Nuru Majhi, a resident of Ward No. 3 of South Sakuchia Union of Upazila. Sohag had a family wedding about 5 days ago. After the marriage ceremony, this is his first work. And the first act is the last day of his life.
According to local sources, Sohag, a painter, was doing painting work at Tahsildar Rubina’s house on Monday. As there was no electricity in the house, they opened the IPS. While cleaning the wall with an iron brush while painting, the IPS fell down due to the shock of the current. Painter Sohag goes. Later, when he was taken to the hospital, he was declared brought dead by the resident medical officer in charge, Dr. Sibgatul Islam. Later, the police took the body to the police station from the hospital.
In this regard, Manpura police station OC Md. Zahirul Islam said that the body was handed over without an autopsy due to the request of the local public representative and the dyer’s family not to perform the autopsy. However, a wrongful death case was filed in the police station in this regard.
In this regard, Dr. Sibgatul Islam, the resident medical officer in charge of Manpura Hospital, said that the electrocuted person died before being brought to the hospital.
