SBAC Bank Plc.’s Paduarbazar Bishwa Road branch was inaugurated today Wednesday (March 6, 2024) by Chairman of the Bank and Member of Parliament of Comilla-8 Constituency Abu Zafar Mohammad Shafiuddin (Shamim) as the chief guest at Noman Complex, Laksam Road, Comilla. Comilla Sadar South Upazila Chairman Golam Sarwar, Upazila Executive Officer Rubaiya Khanam, Additional Managing Director of the Bank Md. Nurul Azim were special guests in the opening ceremony under the chairmanship of Habibur Rahman, Managing Director and Chief Executive of the bank. Bank’s SEVP and Principal Branch Manager Manjurul Karim, EVP and Head of Human Resource Division Faisal Ahmed, EVP and Company Secretary Md. Mokaddes Ali, SVP and Head of Digital Banking Division Mohammad Shafiul Azam, Branch Heads of Comilla region, local public representatives, prominent businessmen and dignitaries were present on the occasion. . In the speech of the chief guest, the chairman of the bank, Abu Jafar Mohammad Shafiuddin Shamim MP, said that despite the current external and internal challenges, the management authorities of SBAC Bank are conducting banking activities with great efficiency and dedication. As a result of which, even as a fourth generation bank, we have been able to build a strong foundation in all financial indicators. One of the goals of the present government is that the village should have the facilities of the city. For that, we give priority to providing loans to agriculture, SMEs, women entrepreneurs to accelerate financial inclusion activities. Besides, we manage the bank with emphasis on remittance collection and foreign trade. Bank officials have to ensure the best customer service.

Managing Director Habibur Rahman said that SBSC Bank has been able to deliver banking services to the doorsteps of people through 89 branches and 30 sub-branches and 32 outlets of agent banking across the country within a short period of time. Amadeo Bank has opened 1:1 branches in towns and villages in compliance with Central Bank norms. In this case we do not see the profit as big.
