 RAB-9, CPC-3, Shaistaganj Camp, A raiding party of Habiganj managed to arrest 1 drug dealer with 68 kg of ganja by conducting a raid in Islampur police outpost area of Budhsti UP under Vijaynagar police station of Brahmanbaria district on the night of October 1. The arrested person is Al Amin Mia (46), son of deceased Noor Mia, a resident of Jagannathpur area of Sadar police station in Moulvibazar district. In another operation, a raiding team of RAB-9, CPC-3, Sunamganj conducted a raid in Nilpur Bazar area under Sadar Thana of Sunamganj district and arrested 1 professional drug dealer along with 402 bottles of foreign liquor. He is Md Sultan Sheikh (30), son of Md Lebu Sheikh, a resident of Pukuria area of Sadar police station of Gopalganj district. After filing a case under the relevant section of the Narcotics Control Act-2018 against the drug dealers, the seized evidence has been handed over to the concerned police station. From the beginning of its debut as an elite force, it has been playing a leading role in the arrest of various types of brutal and heinous crimes, especially drug recovery, murder cases, terrorists, extortion, militancy suppression, illegal weapons recovery and robbers.
