Barura Upazila Jankalyan Samity of Dhaka held discussion meeting and iftar mahfil. The meeting was held on Friday 15th of Ramadan and 7th of April at Shajahanpur Railway Officers Club auditorium in the capital. Chairman of Standard Group, Engineer Alhaj Atiqur Rahman (CIP) was present as the chief guest in the program under the chairmanship of Barura Upazila Jankalyan Samity President Monindra Kishore Majumdar and general secretary Abdus Samad. Barura-8 Constituency Member of Parliament Nasimul Alam Nazrul was present as a special guest. Zakaria Taher Sumon, former Member of Parliament of Barura-8 Constituency, Journalist Leader Omar Faruk Jalal, Chief Editor of Daily Present Times and President of Purbanchol Sangbadik Unity. Also, academicians, professionals, social, political and cultural personalities of Barura upazila. Special prayers are conducted for the welfare of the country and nation of the event. Later iftar and iftar items were distributed among orphans and destitute people.
