On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, a discussion on the significance of the month of Ramadan, iftar and prayer mahfil was completed by Model Press Club Chapainawabganj.
On 24th Ramadan Sunday (April 16) the discussion meeting, Iftar and Doa Mahfil were held in the auditorium of Model Press Club located at Bishwa Road intersection of the district city.
On the occasion, a discussion meeting, Iftar and Doa Mahfil were completed under the chairmanship of Akhtaruzzaman, District Representative of National Daily Open Paper and President of Model Press Club and Badiuzzaman Raja (Babu), District Representative of National Daily Bangladesh Khabar Patrika. Among the members of the Model Press Club were present Jamshed Ali, District Representative of Jatiya Daily Sakal Saham, Shaheen Akhtar, District Representative of Jatiya Daily Ganamukti, Sohail Rana, District Representative of Jatiya Daily Present Times, Najibul Islam, Jatiya Daily Citizen, District Representative of Jatiya Daily. District representative of Times newspaper Ismail, district representative of national daily Destiny newspaper Nasirul Islam etc.
Imam Quddus Ali of Belepukur Waqtia Mosque conducted a special prayer for the departed soul of Advocate late Shahjamal Haque, one of the founders of Model Press Club and Adviser of Model Press Club and District General Secretary of Jatiya Party late Shah Jahan Ali.
