Rajbari’s Baliakandi in police operation, the mystery of the sensational housewife Minu Begum’s murder was revealed and her husband Ujjal Sheikh and mother-in-law Jahura Begum were arrested.

Superintendent of Police said that Minu Begum (27) of Tetulia village of Baharpur Union of Baliakandi upazila was married to Ujjal Sheikh (30), son of her cousin Md Quddus Sheikh of the same village, 10 years ago. Minu Begum’s husband Ujjal Sheikh Madukhali works as a laborer in a jute mill. Minu Begum did not conceive a child after the marriage, so her husband Ujjal Sheikh married second. The accused used to torture Minu Begum physically and mentally as the child did not come from Minu Begum’s womb. On the night of August 5, Minu Begum’s husband Ujjal Sheikh came home from work and had an argument with his wife over a mobile phone. During a quarrel, Ujjal Sheikh strangled his first wife Minu Begum. Later called his parents and younger brother’s wife and grandmother mother-in-law in the next room. They pour water on Minu Begum’s head, but by then Minu Begum is no longer alive.
Superintendent of Police said, when he saw that Minu Begum was no longer alive, Ujjal’s father planned to hide the body in the septic tank of the toilet of their house to save his son from the hands of the law. As part of that plan, husband Ujjal Sheikh, father-in-law Md Quddus Sheikh and mother-in-law Zohra Begum dumped the body in the septic tank of their toilet. Also clogs the septic tank slab. So that no one could suspect that they had killed Minu Begum, the daughter-in-law of the father-in-law, they filed a complaint about the disappearance of Minu Begum at the Baliakandi police station and told others that Minu Begum had an illicit relationship with another person and that she had run away from home. Minu Begum’s mother filed a complaint at Baliakandi police station on August 8. Later on August 19, when the smell of rotting came out from the septic tank of the accused Ujjal Sheikh’s house, the neighbors informed the police. The Thana police prepared a report on the condition of the dead body and sent the body to the Rajbari Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem. Later, Minu’s mother became the plaintiff and filed a murder case in Baliakandi police station.
Rajbari Superintendent of Police G. M. Abul Kalam Azad said, under the overall supervision of Assistant Superintendent of Police Suman Kumar Sahar of Pangsha Circle, under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge of Baliakandi Police Station Md. Asaduzzaman, Baliakandi police station conducted a smart operation to arrest the accused involved in the murder and try to unravel the main mystery of the murder. As part of this effort, the police arrested one of the accused Zahura Begum, the day before Faridpur RAB-10 was able to arrest her son Ujjal Sheikh. The arrested accused initially confessed his involvement in the murder along with other accused.
In response to a question, the Superintendent of Police said that Nanad of the deceased has been brought for questioning. The interrogation is going on. ‘
