Husband has been accused of stabbing his wife to death in Brahmanbaria. The incident took place in Collegepara area of the district town on Wednesday morning. Deceased Jannatul Ferdous (35) wife of Kausar Molla of Ghatiara village of Vasudev UP of Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila. They lived in a rented house in the college neighborhood of the district town. The killer husband is on the run since the incident. It is known that Jannatul Ferdous, a retired army sergeant Kausar Molla, a resident of Ghatiara village of Vasudev UP of Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila, started living with three children in a rented house in College Para area of the district town two years ago. In their family and married life, there were frequent quarrels and quarrels. Because of this, on Wednesday morning, Jannatul Ferdous was killed by stabbing and pressing a pillow to ensure death. This was directly challenged by his children. Kausar ran away with money from the drawer of the house’s cupboard after calling for an ambulance. After this incident, the relatives of the deceased, including their children, burst into tears. Israt Jahan Meem, the eldest daughter of the deceased, said that in the morning, I and my brother ran to my parents’ room after hearing screams in the room. I went and saw that the parents had put a pillow on the mother’s face. Then when asked, father said that mother’s mouth was bleeding. But we see that the mother’s stomach is stabbed and a lot of blood is pouring out. Later, father pushed us, took money from the cupboard drawer of the house and told us to bring an ambulance and locked our door from outside. Noor Mohammad, elder brother of the deceased, said that their family problems had been going on for a long time. He lived in a rented house in the college neighborhood because he tortured his sister when he went to his father-in-law’s house. This morning, my sister-in-law killed my sister by throwing. Later confirmed his death by pressing the pillow and ran away from home. I demand exemplary justice of Kausher in this case. My sister has 2 daughters and 1 son Mohammad Emranul Islam, OC of Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station, said that Kaushar is absconding since the incident. An operation is underway to arrest him. Hope to arrest him soon. Legal action will be taken in this regard. The body of the deceased was recovered and sent to Brahmanbaria General Hospital for post-mortem.
