Students, Teachers, staff and “Pangsha George Government Pilot Model High School” formed a human chain to protect the playground in Rajbari’s Pangsha.
This human chain was held in the school grounds around 10 am today, Wednesday. They formed a human chain against those obstructing the construction of the boundary wall of Pangsha Government George High School and their own land and demanding justice. Rasheda Khatun, acting head teacher of the school, spoke in the chair of several teachers and students. They said that the school was established in 1916. The total land area of the school is 5 acres 58 percent. Due to the lack of school elders, the students have to face a lot of problems due to the movement of outsiders during the class and SSC examination. In addition, the environment of the field is spoiled due to the cattle and goats tied up in the playground of the school. To get rid of all these problems and to protect the school playground, the teachers and students demanded the construction of a wall. To fulfill their dream, the construction of the boundary wall of the school started a few days ago. Since the beginning of the construction work, some influential local walls have obstructed the construction work. That’s why the construction work is currently stopped. He demanded to resume and finish the construction of the wall quickly through this human chain program to protect the school grounds.
