Ziaur murder case discussed in Chapainawabganj A human chain program has been held to protest against the filing of complaint papers by excluding influential people including the UP Chairman.
Plaintiff Miliara Begum has alleged that the defendant No.1 of the case UP Chairman Shahid Rana Tipu and other influential people were excluded from the charge sheet of Ziaur Rahman murder case organized in Sundarpur UP Chandranarayanpur village area of ā€‹ā€‹Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila.
This human chain program was organized in front of Chapainawabganj District Commissioner’s office on Tuesday morning (December 05) to protest against the exclusion of the accused in the murder case discussed in the organization of Sadar Upazila Basi.
He said that recently the investigating officer of the case, District Detective Police Inspector Shahidul Islam, submitted the charge sheet to the court.There, the accused No.1 of the case, Shahid Rana Tipu, the dismissed chairman of Charbagdanga Union, and one of his associates, the accused Azizul Islam, were excluded from the charge sheet.
Beauty Akhtar, Sulekha Begum, Sufia Begum and others spoke at the hour-long human chain under the banner of Sadar Upazila residents.
Incidentally, on April 23 of this year, an incident took place between two groups in the Mati Kata K Kendra Chandranarayanpur area. At that time, Ziaur Rahman was killed by a bomb. Later Ziaur Rahman’s wife Miliara Begum filed a murder case accusing 45 people including UP Chairman Shahid Rana Tipu.
Meanwhile, Charbagdanga Union Parishad Chairman Shahid Rana Tipu was temporarily suspended from his post on September 07 as he was accused in the murder case of former Jubo League leaders Jem and Ziaur and was under trial in court.
