A human chain and protest march was held at the initiative of the Road and Highway Workers Union Pirojpur District Branch demanding that the Central Executive Council of the Road and Highway Workers Union resolve the salary issues of master roll workers and employees, finalize the policy of 27 cases, and include 7 cases in the policy of 27 cases.
This program was held at the Pirojpur Roads and Highways Office on Sunday (October 19).
The program was presided over by Md. Alamgir Hossain, President of the Pirojpur District Branch of the Bangladesh Road and Highway Workers Union, and was addressed by the organization’s Pirojpur District General Secretary Md. Kamruzzaman, Vice-President S.M. Moniruzzaman, Organizing Secretary Mohsin Sheikh, and others.
The program was hosted by Md. Maruf Hossain, Publicity Secretary of the Pirojpur District Branch of Bangladesh Road and Highway Workers Union.
Pension policies for workers and employees included in cases 27 and 7 must be finalized as soon as possible from the date of their first joining.
All master roll workers and employees will be paid on a monthly basis from the code “3211104-Ancillary Organization”.
They held a human chain protest march demanding a total of seven points, including this demand.
