Anikelibar village of Giasnagar Union No. 12 of Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila, due to a previous dispute related to land, there have been allegations of vandalism of houses and beatings and injury by the opponent’s people. In this incident, the victim Md. Jewel Miah became the plaintiff, Azad Miah (60), Abbas Miah (50), Lebas Miah (45), Shaheen Miah (30), Sakel Miah (25), Saku Miah (35), Jiwan Miah (35) of the same area. 30), Mujeeb Mia (45), Anshar Mia (40) and Kulsum Begum (32) filed a complaint against the gangs at Moulvibazar Model Police Station. According to the written complaint, between the two parties regarding the land dispute in Moulvibazar Senior Assistant Judge Court (Plaintiff of the case – Md Churuk Miagong) Ownership Case No. 153/2024 and in the same court (Plaintiff of the case – Esajan Bibi) Ownership Case No. 154/ 2024, 2 separate civil cases are ongoing. Last August 15 night around 1 o’clock, the victim Md. Jewel Mia’s house was attacked by the antagonists who broke into the house and vandalized the furniture and motorcycle and took away the cash. In the same way, an attack was attempted on them on August 9. When asked about this, it was not possible to get a statement as no one from the opponent could be found.
