The blood group of the play and nursery class students of Saash Intellect Development School established in Singur village of Jhlam Union of Comilla’s Barura Upazila was determined on Saturday, April 8. Apart from this, students of other classes are given deworming medicine. The blood group was determined by Lab Technologist Shamsunnahar of Grameen Kalyan, supported by Health Assistant Shiuli Akhtar and Office Assistant Rubel Hossain. Mr. Khairul Enam Alam, Director of Courage, Chief Coordinator Sabur Badsha, Assistant Headmaster Shamima Yashin and all the teachers were present at this time. Most of the students come to school from 9 am holding their parents’ hands. The service started at 10 am. Chief Coordinator Sabur Badshah first introduced the health care providers of Grameen Kalyan to the parents, he said- Sahash School has always been diligent and careful in providing quality education. Along with giving importance to health awareness issues, sports and cultural activities help in the intellectual development of children. After that, Lab Technologist Shamsunnahar said Grameen Kalyan works for the welfare of people in villages, especially in health care. He also said that we provide health care at a special discount for the students of the school. He expressed his hope to provide health care regularly with Saash School. More than 150 students were given anthelmintics along with the blood group of more than 100 students. Badshah Hatim, a parent, said that such an arrangement by Saash School is really commendable. He expressed his satisfaction and said that Saash School is the best school in the area considering various aspects. The service delivery program was successfully completed at 12:45 PM.
