Health Minister Samant Lal Sen said that the first goal of the Ministry of Health is to spread the medical system in the rural areas of Bangladesh. The goal is only one, if every health complex or district hospital can be built vertically, no patient from Gramganj will rush to big cities including Dhaka or Chittagong for treatment.

The health minister said these things to the journalists while visiting the Mirzapur Kumudini Complex in Tangail on Monday (February 26) morning.

Samant Lal Sen said that the Prime Minister has given zero tolerance to the Health Ministry so that no patient is subjected to wrong treatment by doctors.

On the issue of non-availability of doctors in the villages, the minister also said that the Ministry of Health is working on providing adequate protection to the doctors in the villages.

Dr. Md. Abdul Quduch, director of Tangail Sheikh Hasina Medical College, Rajiv Prasad Saha, director of Kumudini Welfare Trust and other officials were with him.
