 Human rights organization Human Rights, Bangladesh Law Support Center (BASC) as the general secretary of Comilla district. Noor Alam Manik was re-elected. President of Laksam Upazila Zaker Party and Joint Organizing Secretary of District Zaker Party. Earlier, Nur Alam Manik was in charge of Comilla district for three years as the General Secretary of Human Rights, Bangladesh Law Support Center (BASC). He has a wide reputation as an honest and fearless human rights activist. In addition to political and professional life, he is working through human rights organizations to establish the basic rights of common people. He is also working as the Comilla District Correspondent of the English daily Present Times. He expressed his gratitude to Sagarika Islam, Country Chairman of Human Rights, Bangladesh Law Support Center (BASC) for re-electing him as General Secretary of Comilla District.
