Since its inception, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been playing a leading role in bringing all types of criminals under the law to maintain the overall law and order situation in the country. RAB has been conducting regular operations against militants, terrorists, organized criminals, armed criminals, robbers and narcotics. RAB has continued its anti-narcotics campaign to eradicate drugs with the slogan “Let’s go to war, against drugs”. In continuation of this yesterday on May 21, 2023 A.D. based on secret information, a raiding team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in Sreepur area of Gazipur district on last 14/05/2023 A.D. Md. Ripon Molla (38) is one of the accused in the case of murder of Ismail registered at Sakhipur police station of Tangail district. , Father- Md Falu Molla, Sang- Dewanpur, Thana- Sakhipur, District- Tangail’ was arrested. During preliminary interrogation, the arrested accused confessed his involvement in the murder. The arrested accused has been handed over to the concerned police station.
