Free Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Services for Marginalized Population at BAU

A “Free Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Treatment” program has been organized at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) for marginalized farmers and poor people. The medical camp was organized at the university’s ‘BAUEC’ Chashi Bhaban at 10:30 am on Monday (July 27) under the joint initiative of CRP and SAIC. The speakers at the event said that CRP is playing an important role in restoring the physical performance of patients through not only drug-based treatment, but also through scientific exercise and rehabilitation methods along with drugs or in many cases without drugs. The event was attended by SAIC Group Chairman Mr. Abu Hasnat Md. Yahia, BAUEC Director Professor Dr. Iffat Ara Mahjabin, BAUEC Student Affairs Advisor Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Haque, Principal of Dhaka Psych Medical Science and Technology Dr. Md. Manjur Rahman, Manager of CRP BAKU Center Mr. Rafiul Karim and BAKU Deputy Registrar and Rover Scouts Group Editor Krishibid Dr. Md. Zahirul Alam. Through this free camp, about 40 marginalized and poor people of the area directly received physiotherapy and rehabilitation medical services.
