Free irrigation equipment has been distributed among the farmers belonging to the group under the Modern Agricultural Technology Extension Project (1st Revised) in the Char area of Bangladesh in the fiscal year 2025-26.
The distribution program was held at around 10 am on Tuesday (April 28) at the Pansha Upazila Parishad premises. At this time, LLP sets and canvas pipes were provided to the farmers.
Pangsha Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Rifatul Haque was present as the chief guest at the program. Upazila Agriculture Officer Tofazzal Hossain and officials of the concerned departments were also present.
The speakers said that this project will play an important role in increasing the production and improving the quality of life of farmers in the Char area by increasing the use of modern agricultural technology. They also expressed hope that such activities will continue in the future with the help of farmers.
