The foundation stone of the four-storey building of Baruha High School in Tangail has been laid. The foundation stone of Baruha High School in Lihimpur Union of Sadar Upazila was laid at noon on Sunday, November 12. On this occasion, a discussion meeting was organized by the management board of the school. Alhaj Chanwar Hossain, Member of Parliament of Tangail-5 (Sadar) Constituency was the chief guest. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the school and General Secretary of the city Awami League MA Rauf were present as special guests, Chairman of Sadar Upazila Parishad Shahjahan Anshari, President of Sadar Upazila Awami League Md. Farooq Hossain Manik, General Secretary Tofazzal Hossain Khan Tofa, Sadar Upazila Parishad Vice-Chairman Nazmul Huda Navin, Female Vice-Chairman Shamima Akhtar, Lihimpur Union Parishad Chairman Sujaet Hossain Molla and others. Ashraf Hossain, headmaster of the school, gave a welcome speech on the occasion. Anwar Hossain, former parent member of the school, Azharul Islam, Md. as honored guests. Parents and students including Babul Hossain, Alamgir Hossain, Shafiqul Islam and parent member (female) Morjina Akter were present. The program was conducted by school teacher Nasreen Akhter. It should be noted that Baruha High School was founded in 1952 by Dr. Abdur Rahman established.
