RAB arrested former MP Abdur Rahman Badi’s personal cashier Salahuddin, who is controversial in the Yaba transaction.
He was detained from Sylhet Osmani International Airport at around 7:30 pm on Monday (September 2).
It is known that Salahuddin sat on a flight bound for Jeddah in Biman Bangladesh wearing ihram. The RAB raided the flight on the basis of secret information while it was on the runway, i.e. shortly before it took off. Then a group of law and order forces arrested him in the state of Ihram.
Abul Kalam Chowdhury, director of the law and media wing of RAB 15, confirmed the matter and said that he tried to escape from the country in the guise of an Umrah pilgrim. He was wearing Ihram. Further legal action is pending in this regard.
