Police have arrested three former members of parliament of BNP in Kushtia in a sabotage case. The arrested are- Kushtia District BNP President and former Member of Parliament of Kushtia-4 constituency Mehdi Ahmed Rumi, General Secretary and former Member of Parliament of Kushtia-3 Constituency Bir Muktijodha Sohrab Uddin and President of Daulatpur Upazila BNP and former Member of Parliament of Kushtia-1 Constituency Reza. Ahmed Bachchu Molla. According to police sources, they were arrested from the party office around 11 o’clock on Tuesday, October 31. Apart from this, Pintu, the accused in the sabotage case, has also been arrested. In protest, they voluntarily resigned from the membership of the club. It should be noted that a copy of this withdrawal letter will be handed over to the main patron of the club, Kushtia District Commissioner Md. Ehetesham Reza, said the resigning journalists. It should be noted that the Kushtia District Press Club established in 1990 with 25 senior journalists who resigned and more professional journalists will be restructured and established as a journalist-based organization want.
