Desk news: US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent Christensen today congratulated Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman on assuming the responsibility. At the same time, he reiterated his commitment to work together to further strengthen Dhaka-Washington relations.
Christensen extended the congratulations during a courtesy call at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the US Ambassador said that Washington is committed to continuing to work with Dhaka to make the two countries safer, stronger and more prosperous.
Earlier, Ambassador Brent Christensen also paid a courtesy call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid Islam.
