Miscreants set fire to a truck loaded with corn standing in Dinajpur city. The front cabin of the truck was burnt. The incident took place at Anandsagar area near Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College in the city around 5 am on Monday (November 13). It is reported that Gulzar Hossain’s truck (Dhaka Metro T-13-2899), a resident of Anandsagar Muktijoddha Palli area, was parked on the side of the road on Sunday night loaded with corn.
On Monday morning, unknown miscreants set fire to the truck and escaped. On receiving information, Kotwali police station and Dinajpur fire service personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Part of the truck’s front cabin was gutted in the fire, but no one was injured. Dinajpur Sadar Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Sheikh Jinnah Al Mamun said miscreants set fire to a corn-laden truck early in the morning. Their prosecution is under process. We have started the investigation process.
