The fire was brought under control on Wednesday morning. However, the rescue workers are still working to rescue the survivors. The high-rise building is located in a narrow alley in the southwestern city of Hanoi. That’s why it was very difficult to enter there after the fire.

Last year, 32 people lost their lives in a fire in a high-rise building in Ho Chi Minh City, the country’s commercial hub. Another 17 people were injured in the accident. At that time, the owner of the building was arrested for violating fire-prevention regulations.
