Today 23rd April 2024 Tuesday afternoon, a discussion meeting with the candidates on the occasion of the 6th Upazila Parishad Election 2024 was organized in the conference room of the District Commissioner. Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Kushtia Md. Ehetesham Reza presided over the meeting. The meeting was also attended by learned Additional District Magistrate, Kushtia, District Election Officer, Kushtia, representatives of law and order enforcement forces and journalists from print and electronic media. It is to be noted that those who got symbolic allocation in the election on May 8, Md. Ataur Rahman Ata (Pineapple), Md. Abu Ahad Al Mamun (Motorcycle), Vice Chairman Abu Taib Badsha (Palki), Md. Zakir Hossain (Tia Pakhi), Female Vice Chairman Lata was elected unopposed.
