The government of the country has launched an electric bus service from the airport of Holy Medina to Masjid al-Nababi.
Governor of Madina region Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz inaugurated this bus service on Thursday.
The electric bus service has a high level of operational efficiency. The bus can run 250 kilometers on a single charge on a single track. The distance between the airport and Masjid Nabbi is 38 km. The bus will make 16 trips in 18 hours every day.
It has a display screen. It shows a detailed view of the itinerary. Number of seats are reserved for special persons. It is said that this electric bus service will be connected with Madina bus service soon.
