Interim government chief advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus is meeting today with leaders of non-governmental development organizations (NGOs) to discuss the recent flood situation in the country. This meeting will be held at 3 pm at Rashtriya Guest House Yamuna.
Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Apoorba Jahangir told BASS, “Many NGOs are distributing relief to the victims and rescue operations in the recent severe floods. Basically, the chief advisor will discuss the issue of dealing with the flood situation with them.
About 5 million people in 11 flood-affected districts of the country have been affected by the recent unprecedented floods.
