Sahin Fakir,Pirojpur Correspondent: On the occasion of the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election, the District Information Office is conducting a promotional program to motivate the general voters in Pirojpur district. Keeping in mind the slogan ‘The key to the country is in your hands’, a day-long motivational music concert has been organized in various upazilas including Pirojpur Sadar on Tuesday, Pirojpur District Information Office Deputy Director Parikshit Chowdhury presided over the event. Additional Deputy Commissioner Pirojpur Mahmudur Rahman Mamun was present as a guest. Assistant Information Officer Md. Abdullah Al Masud and others were also present. A well-decorated truck was made a temporary stage and local folk music artists are making the general public aware of the importance of voting and civil rights through songs and musical instruments. This mobile music concert was performed at major important places in the city, including the Pirojpur Government High School grounds. In the program, artists performed songs of spirituality, patriotism and election awareness. The main focus of the campaign was ‘Gonobhote 2026’ and the active participation of the people to ensure a fair and participatory election. Pirojpur District Information Office Officer Parikshit Chowdhury said – This music concert was organized to easily convey the message of the election to the common people. Giving information through songs makes a lasting impact on the minds of the people. Local Baul artists and cultural workers participated in the program. At this time, a crowd of ordinary pedestrians and spectators was observed around the truck. This mobile stage, decorated with banners and posters, urged voters to exercise their right to vote fearlessly and spontaneously. The local conscious civil society has appreciated this initiative of the District Information Office.
