Sewing machines and checks are distributed in Chapainawabganj under poverty alleviation program with Zakat money.
On the morning of Wednesday 5th April, organized by Chapainawabganj Islami Foundation and in cooperation with the district administration (DC) office conference room, the amount collected in the financial year 2022-23. Sewing machines and checks have been distributed under the poverty alleviation program as Zakat money.
Chapainawabganj District Commissioner AKM Galiv Khan was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Ahmed Mahbub-ul-Islam, Deputy Director of Chapainawabganj Islamic Foundation Agriculturist Mahmudar Rahman and other officials of various departments and journalists of print and electronic media were present.
In the sewing machine check distribution ceremony, 09 women were given sewing machines and checks were distributed to 33 needy men and women. Under this program, so far checks of 7 lakh 70 thousand 777 rupees have been distributed to 127 people in 5 upazilas of this district.
