A discussion meeting was held in Chapainawabganj on the issue of public participation in ending violence against women and children in child marriage and improving the quality of life of children and adolescents.
Devendra Nath Uran, Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary) of the Local Government Department spoke as the chief guest at the Kalinagar High School auditorium of Sundarpur Union of Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila on Monday (August 21).
Sadar upazila executive officer at the meeting. It was held under the chairmanship of Roshan Ali. Habibur Rahman, Chairman of Sundarpur Union, Ali Hossain, Principal of Subagh High School, Abdur Rashid, President of Kalinagar High School, Sumaiya, Orin and Tabassum, students of the school spoke at the meeting.
The exchange meeting was organized by Sadar Upazila in collaboration with Sundarpur Union and UNICEF. Parents and students say no to child marriage. At the end, bicycles were distributed among the meritorious students of five schools.
