Gomstapur upazila of Chapainawabganj district Exchange with primary school teachers and distribution of free seeds and chemical fertilizers to small and marginal farmers.
Deputy Commissioner AKM Galiv Khan was the chief guest at the event in Chapainawabganj Gomstapur Upazila Parishad auditorium yesterday afternoon.
Chapainawabganj Gomstapur Upazila Executive Officer Nishat Anjum Ananya chaired the event. Gomstapur Upazila Parishad Chairman Humayun Reza, Deputy Director of Agriculture Extension Department were present as special guests. Palash Sarkar, Gomstapur Upazila Agriculture Officer Tanveer Ahmed Sarkar etc.
A meeting was held at the Gomstapur Upazila Parishad Auditorium on the occasion of the distribution of educational materials among the meritorious students of the primary stage in the exchange meeting. In the said meeting, the District Commissioner listened to various problems and experiences and gave guidance through open discussion with the primary school teachers. Besides, the Deputy Commissioner visited the office of the Assistant Commissioner (Land), Gomstapur. Also distributed free seeds and chemical fertilizers to small and marginal farmers, and laid the foundation stone of Gomstapur Upazila Parishad Kids Corner.
