4 charred bodies were found from Dhanmondi number 32 of the capital. On Tuesday morning, the dead bodies were found in house number 3 on the east side of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum of Dhanmondi 32. Around 8:30 in the morning, the bodies were taken out by a few people present.

Musician Rahul Anand lives in a building where the bodies were found. 5 houses around Bangabandhu’s residence and memorial museum were set on fire on Monday. All its four houses were being used for Bangabandhu Memorial Museum Awami League. Apart from this, the portrait of Bangabandhu was also destroyed. Here, Awami League leaders and workers from abroad used to greet state guests with flowers. Apart from this, 32’s Santoor restaurant was also set on fire.

Meanwhile, number 32 is packed with eager crowds. Many are carrying various things. As there was not much left to take, most of them found books in their hands.

32 houses were damaged by fire. Every room of Bangabandhu’s residence was vandalized and set on fire. Other houses were also vandalized besides being set on fire.

Rescuers said that they first found three bodies. Later another body was found. Two bodies were burnt beyond recognition.

They believe that the victims entered here to set fire or loot. As it was a kitchen, they might have died in a gas explosion.

Meanwhile, no law enforcement personnel were seen at the spot till 8:30 am.
