Today the capital Dhaka is at the peak of air pollution. On the other hand, Pakistan’s Lahore is second in the list of pollution. This information is known from the Air Quality Index (IQAIR) index of the air quality monitoring organization on Tuesday (June 20) at 8:46 am.
At the top of the list is Dhaka’s air quality score of 156, meaning the air quality here is at the ‘unhealthy’ level. The second ranked city of Lahore in Pakistan has a pollution score of 152 which means that the air quality there is also unhealthy. Another city of Pakistan, Karachi, is also in the third position. It has a pollution index score of 121 meaning the air quality there is unhealthy for sensitive groups.
Apart from this, Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur is in the fourth stage. Chile’s Santiago is at the fifth position and India’s Delhi is at the 6th position.
Air quality is considered good if the score is between zero and 50. 51 to 100 is moderate or tolerable air quality. A score of 101 to 150 is considered unhealthy for sensitive groups. 151 to 200 is considered unhealthy. A score of 201 to 300 is considered very unhealthy. Besides, if it is more than 301, it is considered disastrous.
